Refund and Returns Policy
Transparent 30 Day Return Window, Batch Quality Replacement, and ZAR Refund Procedures
1. Commitment to Customer Satisfaction and Statutory Return Rights
TZG Holdings stands behind the analytical purity of our chemical reagents and the graded quality of our agricultural commodities. Our Refund and Returns Policy is structured in full compliance with Sections 19, 20, and 56 of the South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) as well as Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA). Customers throughout South Africa enjoy a clear, predictable thirty (30) calendar day return window from the date of physical delivery.
All return authorizations, batch inspections, and physical merchandise receiving take place at our central warehouse located at 4 River Rd, Barbeque Downs, Midrand, Gauteng 1684. Before dispatching any parcel or pallet back to our facility, clients must contact our customer care team by emailing sales@tzgholdings.co.za or calling +27 82 123 4567 to obtain an official Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) reference number.
2. Eligibility Conditions for Chemicals and Agricultural Products
Because chemical reagents and food or seed commodities are highly sensitive to atmospheric moisture, contamination, and temperature excursions, strict seal integrity rules apply to voluntary returns. For a product to qualify for a standard change of mind return within thirty days of receipt, the following conditions must be satisfied:
- Unbroken Tamper Evident Seals: Chemical drums, bottles, jerrycans, and intermediate bulk containers must have their original manufacturer induction seals and cap rings completely intact. Opened chemical containers cannot be accepted for change of mind returns due to safety and contamination regulations.
- Original Agricultural Packaging: Woven polypropylene bags, vacuum packs, and seed sacks for rice, pulses, sugars, spices, flours, seeds, and cotton must remain unopened, dry, free of pest exposure, and bearing their original batch tags.
- Supporting Documentation: Returns must include the original TZG Holdings tax invoice number, delivery note reference, and clear photographic evidence of the intact container labels sent to sales@tzgholdings.co.za.
3. Defective Batches, Transit Damage, and Incorrect Consignments
Should a client receive a chemical batch that fails to meet its published Certificate of Analysis specifications, an agricultural lot exhibiting transit moisture damage, or an incorrect item due to a warehouse picking error, TZG Holdings takes full financial responsibility. Clients must notify sales@tzgholdings.co.za within forty eight (48) hours of delivery for visible transit damage, or within thirty (30) days for analytical quality discrepancies, supplying batch numbers and laboratory test findings where applicable.
For all verified defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied goods, TZG Holdings arranges reverse road freight collection from the buyer premises anywhere in South Africa at zero cost to the customer. Depending on client preference, we either dispatch an immediate replacement batch via express freight or process a one hundred percent refund of the purchase price plus original shipping charges.
4. Return Shipping Costs, Inspection Timelines, and ZAR Refund Execution
When a return is initiated voluntarily by the buyer (for example, ordering surplus stock or selecting an incorrect grade by mistake) and no fault exists on the part of TZG Holdings, the buyer is responsible for the direct courier cost of returning the sealed goods to 4 River Rd, Barbeque Downs, Midrand, Gauteng 1684. Voluntary returns of non defective goods are not charged any hidden administrative penalty provided the containers arrive in resalable factory condition.
Once returned stock arrives at our Midrand receiving bay, our quality control technicians complete a physical seal and batch verification inspection within forty eight (48) business hours. Approved refunds are paid strictly in South African Rand (ZAR) via the original payment method or direct Electronic Funds Transfer into the client nominated South African bank account within five (5) to seven (7) business days of inspection approval.
5. Order Cancellations Prior to Dispatch and Direct Exchange Options
Buyers who wish to cancel or amend an online order before it has been handed over to our road freight couriers may do so without penalty by telephoning +27 82 123 4567 or emailing sales@tzgholdings.co.za prior to the 14:00 SAST daily dispatch cutoff. Orders cancelled prior to warehouse loading qualify for an immediate one hundred percent refund in South African Rand.
Clients who require a product exchange rather than a monetary refund, such as swapping a standard reagent concentration for an alternative industrial grade or exchanging one agricultural seed cultivar for another, can request a direct credit allocation against their replacement invoice. Our warehouse team at 4 River Rd, Barbeque Downs, Midrand coordinates the exchange seamlessly once the sealed original stock is checked in.
